October 19-25, 2015 - Horse highlights

October’s fourth weekend boasts an abundance of autumn horse shows and equestrian events across the Upper Midwest. Popular horse happenings scheduled from Monday, October 19, through Sunday, October 25, are the Mid-America Mane Event Horse Show, the Midwest Gypsy and Feathered Friends Open Show, and the Pegasus Annual Horseshoe Ball. The All-American Quarter Horse Congress is ongoing as well. Additional horse highlights for the week are barrel races, breed shows, equestrian training clinics, equine fundraisers, fun shows, horse soccer, open shows, ranch sorting, tack sales, trail competitions, and more.

Zip through this week’s lengthy list of exciting equestrian events across the Upper Midwest. This roster, though perhaps not exhaustive, includes as many Upper Midwestern horse highlights as possible for the specified period. As always, equestrians, exhibitors, vendors, volunteers, and other participants are wise to contact event hosts or organizers directly for show bills, flyers, or additional information.
