May 23-30, 2016- Horse highlights

The final full week of May brings scores of exciting events for Upper Midwest equestrians. Popular horse highlights from Monday, May 23, through Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day), include barrel races, dressage shows, equestrian training clinics, equine breed shows, fun shows, hunter/jumper shows, mounted shooting events, open shows, roping and cow horse events, speed shows, trail rides, and much more. The holiday weekend, seen by many horse lovers as the unofficial start of summer, marks the ramping up of the warm-weather horse show season.

This roster, though perhaps not exhaustive, includes as many Upper Midwestern horse highlights as possible for the specified period.
