October 26-November 1, 2015 - Horse highlights

The final weekend of October brings a wagon-load of fall horse happenings across the Upper Midwest.  Top equestrian events on the books from Monday, October 26, through Sunday, November 1, include Horse Soccer, the IASPHA Saddlebred Show, and the Winter Barrel Blast. More area horse highlights for the week are barrel races, eventing competitions, Halloween fun shows, a hunter-jumper show, reining competition, tack sales, training clinics, and more.

Trot down this week’s lengthy list of exciting equestrian events across the Upper Midwest. This roster, though perhaps not exhaustive, includes as many Upper Midwestern horse highlights as possible for the specified period. As always, equestrians, exhibitors, vendors, volunteers, and other participants are wise to contact event hosts or organizers directly for show bills, flyers, or additional information. Many of these equestrian events may require advance sign-ups. And here's a reminder to set those clocks back and enjoy an extra hour of sleep between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
