Equestrians across the Upper Midwest welcome autumn with hosts of horse shows, equestrian training events, and other event highlights. Top picks from Monday, September 21, through Sunday, September 27, include the 27^th Cowboy Dressage Gathering and Finals, the Viola Horse and Colt Show, and the Wisconsin Walking Horse Association Fall Finale.

Additional area horse highlights for the week are 4-H horse shows, cowboy mounted shooting, dressage shows, equine breed shows, fun shows, horse training workshops, hunter-jumper competitions, open arenas, ranch horse shows, tack sales, team roping, trail rides, and more.
